Terms of service
The plain-language agreement between you and us when you use Here a Little.

What Here a Little is
A daily Bible story for your family, sent by email, written around your children by name or around the Carters, with the passage quoted word for word from the King James Bible. It is a help for parents and grandparents. It is not a church, a school, or a substitute for either.
Your account
You must be an adult to sign up. You are responsible for the details you give us about your family and for keeping your sign-in email secure. One account per family; grandparents may give a subscription as a gift to another family.
The free stories
Your first two stories are free, and no card is needed to receive them. After the second story we stop until you choose a plan. Nothing is charged until you do.
Plans and billing
Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. Founding family pricing stays at the founding rate for as long as that subscription stays active. Prices are shown before you pay and billed through our payment provider. Cancel any time from your account page or from any email; cancelling stops the next renewal and your stories continue to the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are described on our refunds page.
Using the stories
The stories are for your family's personal use: read them aloud, print them, share one with a grandparent. Please do not republish them, sell them, or use them in a product or classroom material without asking us first. Scripture quotations are from the King James Bible and belong to no one.
What we promise, and what we cannot
We promise to send a story each day we are able, read by a person before it goes out, true to the statement of faith published by our church. We cannot promise an email will never be late or lost, that the service will never be down, or that every story will suit every child. If a story misses, we will send it as soon as we can. Beyond refunding what you paid us, we are not liable for losses connected to the service, to the extent the law allows.
Ending things
You may delete your account at any time. We may end an account that abuses the service or other families. If we ever close Here a Little, we will tell you in advance and refund any unused part of a yearly plan.
Changes to these terms
We will email you before any change that affects your rights or your bill.
